Whala! Bávaro hotel is located on the beachfront of Bávaro Beach, in one of the most exclusive tourist areas of the Dominican Republic, the Cortecito. It is a safe and very pleasant area of Punta Cana, with restaurants, bars and a good atmosphere from where you can walk to a wide range of leisure activities and live the Dominican night.
It is a vacation resort in Punta Cana, located just a few meters from Playa Bávaro, a spectacular 50 km long beach that brings together all the charm of the Caribbean and American beaches.
Of the hotels in Punta Cana, whala!bávaro is the closest to the beach. The resort is made up of several colorful buildings built around large garden areas and terraces with swimming pools.
The 263 hotel rooms have a modern and functional decoration. They are distributed in double, economic, superior, double rooms with sea views and double rooms with views of the pool, the latter two in the beach area.
Completely renovated in 2018, the whala!bávaro hotel has different pool and terrace areas, a gym, 2 buffet restaurants, a snack bar on the beach, 2 pool bars and a Sky Bar with a la carte Japanese restaurant (not included in the All Inclusive formula), sea views and infinity pool.
5 swimming pools with terraces
whala!bávaro has a total of 5 swimming pools, one of them for children, surrounded by extensive terrace areas with sun loungers and parasols. The new infinity pool of the Sky Bar stands out, in the beach area, next to the bar and the Japanese restaurant, where we can organize cocktails and private parties with spectacular views of the sea.
Gym
Fully equipped, the hotel gym has dumbbells, an elliptical trainer, a treadmill, a multifunctional bench… In addition, every day the hotel offers a complete program of sports and entertainment activities.
All Inclusive Hotel
The hotel’s All Inclusive service includes buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, snacks from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and from 11:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., and alcoholic (local brand) and non-alcoholic drinks from 10 :00 to 1:00 a.m.

Sky Bar-Japanese Restaurant
Located on the roof of the beach room building, with an infinity pool, this bar-restaurant offers stunning views of the ocean. It is paid (it is not included in the All Inclusive formula).
Bar hours: from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Restaurant hours: from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Whala!kids
With the whala!kids programme, the youngest members of the family will have a great time. We have games, activities and workshops specially designed for them!

How to get there from the Punta Cana airport
To get to the whala!bávaro hotel in Punta Cana as comfortably as possible, all you have to do is hire our direct transfer service from the airport.
Upon arrival at the Punta Cana International Airport, take Boulevard Turístico del Este, exit towards Alemania Avenue and, in approximately 20 minutes, you will arrive at the hotel.
At the Punta Cana airport you can take a taxi ($35) that will take you directly to the whala!bávaro hotel in just over 20 minutes.
