Cabo Engaño, a wonder in Punta Cana!

Cabo Engaño is an interesting and beautiful cape located at the eastern end of the island of Hispaniola, in the Dominican Republic, near Punta Cana. It takes its name from the mistake made by Admiral Christopher Columbus on his second trip to the island. by confusing it with the Samaná peninsula.

Cabo Engaño beach stretches for 64 kilometers along the turquoise sea. Its fine white sands are dotted with some of the tallest coconut palm trees in the entire Costa del Coco.
