Madama Beach, a treasure of Nature!

Madama Beach is a natural beauty that despite the small size it hides, you will find all its precious treasures, its many beautiful trails around forests flanked by cliffs, hidden caves and bright corals under the strong turquoise color of the Ocean.

Madama Beach is bathed by the Atlantic Ocean and located in the municipal district of Las Galera, which depends on the municipality of Santa Bárbara de Samaná, Dominican Republic, and is famous for its great beauty.

Snorkeling here will reveal black sea urchins and vibrant coral, while the crescent-shaped white sand beach is as remote as it gets, you can walk to Playa Madama, or you can take a boat tour.

Ask to see the cave used to film the series “Survivor”, at the eastern end of the beach, where you will also find a quieter beach for swimming, this wonderful place has been the setting for great international films.

Its charm is due to its isolation from civilization, since to get to it, you have to go down a very steep slope through the rocks, which together with the vegetation, give the beach a jungle atmosphere.

You can visit the cave that is hidden among the rocks with a flashlight or take a refreshing swim before returning, it is possible to find someone on the beach selling water coconuts, but it is advisable to bring water to hydrate during the walk. On the way back, you can choose the other path to observe new landscapes.
