Don Lulu Ranch, a paradisiacal hostel!!

Don Lulu Ranch Ecotourism Center is a haven of tranquility and has an ecological lodge with eight rooms with capacity for up to forty people, depending on occupancy. They are simple rooms, however, they have the charm that you can wake up with the delicious mountain cold and the song of birds in the window.

From the moment you arrive at Don Lulu Ranch, you feel the smell of cocoa, the mountain air and the warmth of good service. The main objective of this community project is to promote responsible tourism in the surroundings of the Loma Quita Espuela Scientific Reserve and contribute to the livelihood of local families. But, in addition, it is ideal to disconnect from technology and connect with nature, with family or friends.

In its dining room, you can taste delicious Creole dishes, cooked by the women of the community. Similarly, enjoy its natural spa with river water and take advantage of its large events room and gazebos for your activities, at a distance of 18 minutes from the city center.

Enjoy your visit to SFM at Don Lulu Ranch. After spending the day in the outdoor pool, you can grab a bite to eat at the cafeteria or enjoy a delicious drink at the poolside bar. There is also a swimming pool with a gentle current, a children’s pool and a terrace.

This wealth of biodiversity was the starting point for the establishment in 1992 of the Loma Quita Espuela Scientific Reserve, where the communities of the area have committed themselves to protecting the environment and natural resources, favoring the establishment of sustainable use of natural resources in harmony with nature.

Rancho Don Lulú is a Community Rural Tourism center that seeks to contribute to local development and the conservation of natural resources. It has accommodation, rooms for events, spas, food services with the tastiest Creole food and excursions that range from the cocoa harvesting process and the preparation of its derived products, to the richness of the Loma Quita Espuela Scientific Reserve.

This ecotourism complex arises as a response to the predation that existed in the area and was established in 2007 as an alternative livelihood without damaging nature, it is part of the Solenodonte Ecotourism Association and works hand in hand with the Loma Quita Espuela Foundation. . It has 9 rooms, each with a bathroom and the capacity to accommodate a maximum of 36 visitors.

Its meeting rooms have a capacity of up to 300 people, and its refreshing natural spa will delight water lovers. In addition, they sell local products such as honey and chocolate and offer picnics, camps and social activities. Within the guided excursions we find the Sendero de las Nubes, the Ruta de Bosque de Cacao and the Sendero Don Soron, ideal places to learn about different species of fauna and flora in the area.
